Because Jesus told His Followers THIS in John 13:34-35 NIV: I “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

There is some very wise wisdom from King Solomon in these verses. We just finished up looking at what a Proverbs 31 wife looks like. Now we will see how the book of Proverbs talks about the relationship between a husband and wife.
These verses talk about the marriage bed and how we should leave it undefiled. The relationship between husband and wife is sacred. God is the One who brings a man and woman together, and through marriage the two become ONE! The relationship between Sexual Intimacy and Spiritual Growth in the Bible always coincided with healthy relationships, and these principles are still true to this day.
To those who are married: DON’T HAVE SEX with anyone who isn’t your spouse. That’s the main thing these verses are saying.
